Sometimes I’ll try to say something funny at home and get told to “Save it for the stage.”
Sometimes I’ll say it on stage, and the audience will collectively respond, “That’s too long-winded or heartfelt to work in a club set — but maybe stick it on that blog you never use.”
So here it is: my creative orphanage.
A halfway house for ideas and stories that nearly made it.
